• In a workshop organized by Asharqia Chamber, there is a serious call to set new standards for the quality of services of ladies' centers

    In partnership with the Saudi Society for Quality, Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Committee of Women's Centers and Salons, organized a workshop on "Quality of Services in Women's Centers" on Sunday 30/9/2018.

     The workshop stressed the importance of setting standards for the quality of services in order to upgrade the sector and meet the ambitions of customers.

     

    The workshop, which was held in one of the large hotels in the Eastern Province, stressed the need to monitor the development and growth parameters and explore the new scientific methods to upgrade and develop the sector.

    The workshop was attended by businesswomen specialized in this field, in addition to a number of interested individuals in quality.

     

     During the dialogue, it was agreed on a precise definition of the term quality and evolution of the idea historically.

    The role of quality, its impact and its importance to all economic sectors, especially the field of women's concerns and centers, was highlighted too.

     

    The Chairperson of the Committee of Women's Concerns and Saloons, Shuaa Al-Duhailan, said that the Committee in its activities seeks to achieve many of the strategic objectives set by Asharqia Chamber in order to achieve the desired development.

    The most important of which is the promotion of the beauty and fashion industry in the Eastern Region to be a distinguished international center through the creation of a sound environment that contributes to the promotion of professionalism, creativity and sustainable development to qualify national cadres and to highlight the role of women as an effective contributor to the development of the economy of the Eastern Region.

    She emphasized the Committee's interest in measuring the quality of services in the Salons and women's centers.

     

    Furthermore, the head of the branch of the Saudi Association for Quality in the Eastern Province, Abdulaziz Al-Mahbub, said that the participation of the Association in this workshop comes in the interest of seeking to keep pace with the national aspirations to renew the performance of different sectors in order to achieve good services for beneficiaries and raise their level of satisfaction.

    He explained that the Association is working to build and design quality standards for the performance of women's concerns in order to improve the type of service provided as well as the quality and safety of used materials.​
